Alum Spotlight

At Sacred Heart, legacy is not simply something we inherit — it is something we live. Few families embody that legacy more beautifully than the de Heinrich–Sacconaghi family. Their story is not only one of continuity — it is one of courage, faith, resilience, and the extraordinary ways in which a Sacred Heart education can shape a life.

Sacred Heart played a formative role in shaping who I am. The values of compassion, integrity, discipline, and service that I learned there have guided my entire career. I remain deeply grateful for that foundation and proud to be part of this community.

We were honored to welcome Marie-Claire Paré Holland ’59, recipient of the 2025 Golden Alum Award, to The Sacred Heart School of Montreal. An active and engaged member of our community, Marie-Claire reflected on her time at Sacred Heart and shared stories of the many adventures that followed.

That first exposure to economics at Sacred Heart helped build my confidence and prepared me for university. It was the foundation that later shaped my academic and professional path.
