A Life of Impact
Marie-Claire Paré Holland ’59 exemplifies the spirit of service and has remained a devoted supporter of Sacred Heart throughout her life. She was a past President of the Alumnae Association and held numerous leadership roles, including serving on the board of the Royal Victoria Hospital, contributing to Sacred Heart’s fundraising campaign through its Development Committee, and the board of the Paré Foundation, which advances youth education in Malawi, Haiti, India, and Canada.
Her impact extends far beyond the boardroom. Marie-Claire has worked tirelessly at the grassroots level - fundraising for political candidates, serving meals to those experiencing homelessness, volunteering with Meals on Wheels as both a driver and shopper, and supporting the Kidney and Huntington’s Foundations through product sales.
Her extraordinary record of service reflects not only her unwavering commitment to her communities, but also a profound generosity of spirit. Above all, Marie-Claire is an exceptional individual whose compassion is matched only by her dedication.
