Social Entrepreneurship Workshops
UpstartED’s social entrepreneurship workshops at Sacred Heart are a great space for creative teamwork! The workshops are part of the upGen program, an entrepreneurial challenge that will run throughout the school year. Our students will identify challenges in their community that align with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and they will receive the entrepreneurial and technological skills needed to build and launch their society-centric solutions.
After completing three initial workshops, students can apply for the upGen Bootcamp where they will compete against other high school and CEGEP students. This is where our young change makers will learn to build and launch sustainable businesses that have the potential to change the world. Only six teams will be invited to the next stage, the upGen Accelerator, where they will receive coaching and mentorship that could potentially lead to launch social businesses!
