Record Breaking Numbers at the Sacred Heart Golf Tournament

The 16th Annual Sacred Heart Golf Tournament – A Resounding Success

Sacred Heart’s Annual Golf Tournament, in support of The future at heart Capital Campaign and the building of a new auditorium, was a tremendous success. With sunny skies and a record breaking number of golfers, this 16th edition of the school’s annual fundraiser continues to help with the ongoing needs of its students.  Through the generosity of parents, faculty,  and alumnae, and by participating in the on course contests, the raffle and the silent auction, the tournament raised almost $40,000.

Thanks to the Golf Committee, this year’s tournament broke records in attendance and had more golfers than ever before. “Sacred Heart is a home away from home for my daughter and our family is happy to help in any way we can,” said Mr. Marc Doré, current parent & Tournament Chair.

Sacred Heart is growing   The school continues to do well. The 2017-2018 school year will see continuing growth in the school’s incoming classes, with the re-opening of its boarding facilities to accommodate a growing number of international students including more students from Asia and Mexico.

An Annual Tournament  Since 2001, this annual tournament has raised more than $375,000 for the needs of the school, and last year alone we raised more than $35,000. Proceeds benefit the school’s ongoing Capital Campaign –The future at heart, to help with the building of a 325-seat Auditorium including a 1,500 sq.ft. music classroom, a 4,500 sq. ft. Wellness Centre and various other capital improvements. More information on the campaign is available by clicking on the following LINK.
