CITY HOUSE FOUNDATION
Established in 1981 through the joint efforts of the Parents’ Guild (formally known as the Mothers’ Guild), the Advisory Council (formally known as the Advisory Board) and the Society of the Sacred Heart (Canada), the City House Foundation is a non-profit organization. Its general purpose is to provide financial support to the Sacred Heart School of Montreal. The trustees of the Foundation support an annual program to raise funds to be retained and invested. The income generated is used to fund four types of activities: Capital Campaign Building Improvements, General support for the school (i.e. special needs as they may arise); Bursaries & Enrichment Programs.

The future at heart Capital Campaign: Today, we invest in the legacy we have inherited to be bold and successful in building the future at heart. Our continued success as a great school requires an investment in our students’ intellectual, moral and spiritual growth, as well as in the facilities and spaces where their development takes place. We are excited by the future and true to Sacred Heart tradition, we are focused on excellence in academics, the arts and athletics. Now is the time to further the excellence in our facilities. The exceptional programs, like the ones Sacred Heart offers, must be supported by spaces that reflect that commitment. In today’s competitive educational environment, we must match facilities to the level of teaching provided by the faculty and provide top value for our community’s educational investment.
