Community Service Day – April 13

Sacred Heart Proudly Announces the 7th Edition of Community Service Day

The Sacred Heart School of Montreal is proud to announce the 7th edition of Community Service Day, taking place on April 13th. This year, the students and faculty will be volunteering at some 25 organizations including: Ronald McDonald House, Giant Steps, and Good Shepherd Community Center.

Launched in 2012, Sacred Heart’s Community Service Day is an entirely student-run initiative and is organized by the grade 10 Leadership class. The students choose and contact each charity, organize the student and faculty volunteers and transportation logistics, among other tasks. “This is a unique Sacred Heart student-led program that involves the entire school coming together to reach out to our community. It represents the mission and values of a Sacred Heart education – building community as a Christian value, “ highlighted Ms. Megan Littman, Athletic Director and Leadership teacher.
