Christmas at Sacred

Has it been the early snow? The cold snap? Whatever it is, it seems that the Christmas season began earlier this year. Here at Sacred Heart, we are making our list and checking it twice… our list of Christmas activities that is!

Christmas Fair/Bubbles & Sparkles

The Christmas Fair has changed this year, due to construction of the new auditorium, which prevents us from using the reception room. This year, the Parents’ Guild and the City House Foundation have organized the Bubbles & Sparkles Holiday Market. This will take place December 6 (4 pm to 9pm) and December 7 (10 am to 5 pm).

Advent Begins!

The beginning of Advent will be celebrated with a full-school Mass on December 3. This is a busy time for all, but, most importantly, a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the spirit of giving, and the importance of spending time with loved ones and those who need our love the most.

Christmas Concert – Merry & Bright

The annual Christmas concert for parents will be held in the chapel on Thursday, December 12. The show will feature the Secondary II Junior Bands, the senior Concert Band, and the new show choir. Join us for a Merry & Bright evening of musical celebration! Donations for the building of a New Music Room will be graciously accepted at the door.

Christmas Wishes

The 2019 part of the school year ends with this Sacred Heart tradition. Students are working with the support of Mme Gauthier to bring us four vignettes about this time of year, under the theme of a grandmother telling her grandchildren these comical stories.

Christmas Mass

Before leaving on Christmas break, a full-school Advent mass will be held on Friday, December 20.
