Battle of the Books April 9th

Battle of the Books Competition to be Hosted at Sacred Heart, for 2nd Year in a Row

Now in it’s fifth year, Battle of the Books is an exciting event including teams of students from English high schools that are quizzed on their detailed knowledge of 10 young adult books. Students face-off at the school, Board or Association, and island-wide levels as they compete to be the winner of the Ultimate Battle title. Organized by school librarians and library technicians, “Battle of the Books” has steadily grown each year to include an increasing number of schools, both public and private,  from across the Island of Montreal. It is a fun and engaging way for students and their families to get excited about reading while also building confidence and team work skills.

This year’s competition for the private school sector will be hosted at Sacred Heart on Monday, April 9th
