 Application Checklist

  • A completed online application form
  • A photo of the applicant
  • A completed student profile form
  • A personal statement by the applicant explaining why she is applying to the Grade 12 program (250-300 words)
  • A confidential school report form
  • Copies of report cards from grades 9-11
  • Quebec student Ministry transcript (MEES) (for Quebec students only)
  • A copy of the birth certificate (a notarized translation in English if applicable)
  • A non-refundable processing and evaluation fee of CA$100 (Domestic Students) or CA$300 (International Students) payable by cash, cheque or money order to Sacred Heart School of Montreal, or by electronic payments.


 No entrance test is required.

 Students who apply from outside the province of Quebec may have additional application requirements and fees (please see below).

When to apply

The application deadline for the 2019-2020 academic year is March 1. Late applications are accepted pending availability and immigration requirements – students may be wait listed.

Evaluating the Application

  The following criteria will be used to determine admission to the program:

  • Interview
  • Student profile
  • Confidential School report form
  • Past report cards
  • Quebec student Ministry transcript (MEES) (for Quebec students only)
  • Personal statement

International Students

  In addition to the requirements above, international students must also:

  • Demonstrate their English language proficiency by completing one of the following tests as part of the admissions process:
  • TOEFL: 90 for iBT TOEFL, 500 for paper-based TOEFL
  • IELTS: 6-6.5
  • CAEL: 70
  • Provide immigration documents (contact the Admissions Office for further details)
  • Provide a certified translation of report cards
  • Provide the Admissions Office with additional information about curriculum in their current school (as needed)
  • Passport
  • CAQ (Certificate of Acceptance to Quebec)
  • Study permit


Domestic fees: $16,850

International fees: $21,850
