What a Match! Selwyn takes on Sacred Heart at "Shave to Save"
To help Selwyn House raise funds at their "Shave to Save" supporting breast cancer research, and to promote friendly relations between our schools, Corina Micheletti (Sec. V) along with her brother Jeremy (Sec. IV at Selwyn) put their heads together. They arranged for Sacred Heart to play a friendly dodgeball game against the faculty and students at Selwyn.
The game, which took place after school on October 26, was not limited to our students. Mr. O'Donnell and our faculty were invited and joined in the fun as well. To support the cause, tickets were sold; participants paid to play, and spectators paid to watch and cheer everyone on. Proceeds from a bakesale augmented the funds raised.
A big "THANK YOU" to Corina and Jeremy Micheletti for organizing this very successful friend-raiser and fundraiser! Special thanks are also extended to Selwyn House for having us participate in this special event!
